Seasonal Welder/General Laborer: Parade Float Construction
Position Details: Part-Time (up to 40 hours to per week) Seasonal, starting immediately, working through July 1, 2023. In-person at float construction warehouse based near Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon

More about the position:
The Portland Rose Festival Foundation is seeking seasonal workers for parade float construction, starting immediately (posted 5/20/23), working through July 1, 2023. Skills in welding and general construction preferred. Will perform some general labor and construction tasks. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and valid drivers license required.
Compensation: $18 per hour.


Rose Garden Store Retail Specialist (Part-Time, Seasonal)
Seeking a friendly and upbeat customer service-oriented individual looking for part-time work in a unique environment in the Rose Garden Store at Washington Park. Being a people person is a must; retail sales experience is a plus. Must be available on weekends and some holidays. Join the team to work in one of Portland’s most memorable small retail spaces! Seasonal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Position Details: Full-Time Seasonal (non-exempt), in-office based in Downtown Portland, Oregon
We're looking for a "people person" who is comfortable with the use of online technology to help us behind-the-scenes at Portland Rose Festival headquarters in April, May, and June 2024. This position assists Foundation staff in general office administrative-related projects, and presents a welcoming, helpful, and professional attitude at the front desk as the first point of contact in our reception area for office visitors and incoming phone calls. The person in this role may be assigned to help support some special event projects as needed. It's a fast-paced office environment with daytime hours on weekdays (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm), and the possibility for some weekend hours/overtime in late May & early June. Internship Program

Rose Festival thanks the Pacific Power Foundation for their support of our intern program. We’re happy to be able to provide this unique work education experience to college students, including past Court Members, who are enrolled at an accredited college or university, or recent college graduates who have an interest in learning a myriad of skills while helping produce the annual Rose Festival.
