The Portland Rose Festival Foundation (PRFF) is a nonprofit organization that oversees the planning and execution of the programs and events of the festival.
Mission Statement
The Portland Rose Festival Foundation is a non-profit that serves families and individuals with programs and events that promote the arts, education and volunteerism.
We value environmental responsibility, diversity, patriotism and our historic & floral heritage.

Bank of America uses its substantial resources to invest in organizations, like the Rose Festival, that build healthy neighborhoods today and a stronger community for the future.
Here are some of the ways you can support the foundation:
Become a Friend of the Festival
Support the Foundation with an annual gift. Gifts increase the charitable impact of the Rose Festival on the community and its core programs. Friends of the Festival receive invitations to exclusive Rose Festival events, discount event tickets and merchandise, and recognition in Rose Festival publications.
Become a Friend of the Festival by making a tax-deductible donation.
Dinner and Auction
Join the party in the fall. Learn more about the Auction and how to receive an invitation.
Matching Gifts and Volunteer Donation Programs
Many companies offer matching gift programs or provide incremental funds for employees who volunteer for service. If your employer offers a similar program, please contact the Foundation Development Office.
Check with your Human Resources Department or your Charitable Giving Department for more details.
Leave a Legacy
Since 1907, the Portland Rose Festival has have been supported by special friends who have made important contributions to the Festival's achievements. That tradition of giving allows the Festival to give back to the community through programming that supports arts, education, and the environment. When you make a planned gift, you'll be helping ensure the Festival's future and its charitable impact on the community.
We can work with you to make special planned gift arrangements, such as those below. The size of the gift need not be disclosed.
- Bequests
Name The Festival Foundation in your will for a specific amount, a percentage of the total estate, or the residue of the estate.
- Charitable Gift Annuities
Receive lifetime payments as well as tax savings while you support your Festival. By transferring cash or securities to the Foundation, you'll receive fixed annuity payments for life.
- Life Estate Arrangements - Deed your residence to the Foundation now, enjoy an immediate income tax deduction, and continue to live at that residence for the rest of your life.
- Life Insurance - Donate a policy that is no longer needed for family protection, or establish a new policy with the Foundation as beneficiary and deduct the annual premiums.
- Trusts - A revocable living trust is a private, confidential legal arrangement that controls the after-death distribution of selected assets covered by the trust. An irrevocable variation known as a Charitable Remainder Trust can provide lifetime income, attractive income and estate tax advantages, and ultimately a significant charitable bequest.
- Retirement Plans - Designate the Foundation as beneficiary of a plan such as a 401(k) or IRA.
By joining the Legacy Society, participants receive:
