Info About Parade Rules and Amenities

The Parade Access Ordinance is still in effect. Parade fans are welcome to save their spots, in person, 24 hours before the parade. Please do not use tape, paint, or chalk to mark your viewing spot. Portable toilets will be provided along the route for those who intend to camp, and there are designated viewing areas for elderly guests and those with disabilities.

Parade Seating for the Disabled

The Portland Rose Festival -- in cooperation with the City of Portland and TriMet -- will be offering two locations along the KeyBank Grand Floral Parade route, one on the east side and one on the west side, for special needs seating.

Special Needs Locations

Oregon Convention Center (777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)

June 8 Update!!!
Handicap-accessible parade-line seating is available in a reserved area at the south end of the Oregon Convention Center property. Space is limited, so guests must request tickets in advance to have access to the seating area. A maximum of two tickets per request (disabled guest plus one companion) will be granted while supplies last. Chairs will be provided and outside food and beverages are permitted. No more passes remain for the 2010 Grand Floral Parade -- this area is SOLD OUT. To be placed on the mailing list for the 2011 Grand Floral Parade Special Needs seating information, please email Carol Ross at carolr@rosefestival.org.

Please note that parking is NOT included -- arrival by TriMet is encouraged.

East side of SW Broadway between Yamhill & Morrison

Priority seating for the disabled and elderly is available on a first-come first-served basis on parade morning along Broadway at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Guests must bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on, chairs will not be provided. Arrival by MAX light rail to the Pioneer Courthouse Square stop is encouraged.

Toilet Locations

Thanks to the Portland Rose Festival and the City of Portland, there are public toilets plus sinks available along the parade route. See the following map for locations.
