The Milk Carton Boat Races is a classic Rose Festival event. It's a family friendly, wholesome and 100% milk-powered celebration. The event features handmade, human-powered water-crafts, made from milk jugs or cartons.
The Dairy Farmers of Oregon Milk Carton Boat Race offers a memorable day for participants and spectators alike. Children and adults can both race and show off their handmade boats which float only by means of recycled milk cartons and jugs. Creatively designed watercraft will compete in five categories for the coveted 'Best in Show' milk-can-trophy. Join the fun for a Sunday filled with family-friendly entertainment -- plus spirited competition!
