Spirit of Ferris Bueller - Parade Auditions

Show off your "Ferris Bueller" spirit at the 2024 Grand Floral Parade! The Portland Rose Festival and our partners at CareOregon are looking for some modern day Ferris Bueller characters to twist and shout along the parade route.

Do you need to look like Ferris - No!
Do you need to sing like Ferris - No!
Do you need to enjoy life to the fullest and be ready to rock the streets with your own unique flair (in the vest) - YES!

One lucky winner will be chosen to embrace their own unique take on this mischievous and endearing character, and reenact one of the greatest movie moments of the 80's as they take over the CareOregon 30th Birthday float to Twist and Shout for thousands of parade-goers!

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 6:30pm. Please register below for location information.

Qualified candidates must meet all eligibility requirements. Finalists will appear on stage before the Opening Night Fireworks at CityFair at approximately 9:30pm for the announcement of the winning Ferris on May 24! Winners must be available for parade rehearsals and performance days - June 3, June 7, and June 8, 2024.
