Rose Festival Welcomes New Slate of Board Officers and Unveils 2025 Theme: "All Together Now"
Portland, OR — January 30, 2025 —The Rose Festival Foundation proudly announces its new slate of board officers for 2025, led by President Jeremy Emerson, Partner & Chief Creative Officer at Saffire. Joining him are President-Elect Dayna Kirk, Assistant Vice President of Client Management at The Standard, and Vice President Amy Johnson, nonprofit executive and owner of Amy Johnson Consulting. Together, this dynamic team brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Rose Festival’s mission of uniting the community through celebration.
The theme for the 2025 Rose Festival, "
All Together Now," reflects not only the Rose Festival’s commitment to inclusivity and collaboration, but also celebrates the passion-driven efforts of all Portlanders to unite in celebration of our city and its official festival. This year’s events will focus on bringing people together to honor Portland’s rich history, diversity and community spirit.
President Jeremy Emerson expressed his enthusiasm for the year ahead, noting the significance of working alongside such accomplished women leaders as Dayna Kirk, Amy Johnson and Immediate Past President Contesa Diaz-Nicolaidis of Alaska Airlines.
"It’s a privilege to lead the Board of Directors alongside these extraordinary women leaders," said Jeremy. "Their vision and expertise inspire me, and together, we’re poised to guide the Rose Festival to new heights, celebrating the unity and vibrancy of our community with fresh energy and purpose."
Rose Festival CEO Marilyn Clint also shared her optimism for the new leadership team.

The Rose Festival has been a cornerstone of Portland’s cultural identity for more than a century, bringing joy to the community through events like the Grand Floral Parade, CareOregon Starlight Parade, Fred Meyer Junior Parade, CityFair and Fleet Week. The 2025 Festival promises to uphold this legacy while fostering a renewed sense of connection and shared purpose.
